Coronavirus is posing a massive threat to the live music industry. Venues across the country are at risk of closing permanently without support from the communities they serve. Airdriver Records is a brand new, Brighton based record label, and as we launch into the industry we want to support a venue which has been so instrumental in our own musical upbringing. We can’t throw a physical launch party, so we’ve assembled four incredible acts from Brighton and beyond who will each perform a (virtual) set, from lockdown. Setting the mould for future Airdriver Records parties, we’ve curated an evening of electric live music and groundbreaking underground dance music.

Tune in on Friday 10th July from 18:30 for an exclusive isolation set from each artist, including the launch of Hive Society's debut single 'The Exchange / Warped', released on Airdriver Records.

••• Junodream •••
Junodream's bittersweet songs "help exorcise your demons". They find humour in the bleak and trivial as their nostalgia driven melodies blend with otherworldly guitars.

••• Hive Society •••
As the founders of Airdriver Records, Hive Society will be premiering their debut double A-side single ‘The Exchange / Warped’. Recorded and produced entirely in lockdown, the result is a woozy, melancholic yet punchy record which is a genuine product and representation of the bizarre period in which it was recorded.

••• Gene Pool •••
Consulting a wide variety of influences, Gene Pool conjure their very own unique blend of dark, cosmic, story-telling, sound-scaping and glamorously hard-hitting grooves from a gloomy shed on the outskirts of the known world (Portslade).

••• Cousn •••
Producing an eclectic mix of disco, house, acid, breakbeat and punk, Cousn’s raw and high energy sound has bagged them sets at The Warehouse Project, Printworks, Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party. They hold a regular slot on London’s Rinse FM and have produced remixes for the likes of Elder Island and Robbie Doherty. Cousn will be closing out the party with an hour long DJ set.
