Newcastle-based Indie rock band Split the Ticket are launching their 2nd EP ‘Cornerstone’ at the Cluny 2. Last year, NARC described Split the Ticket as ‘effortlessly danceable, seamless, and thought-provoking’, and things have only improved since then as the band have begun to sculpt a clearer sound. Expect a night of fan favourites as well as brand new tunes drawing influence from the likes of Wunderhorse, Been Stellar, and Fontaines DC.
Joining in support are Central Arcade, a Hexham-based band making waves around the region; as well as Idle Hands, a strong and established force in the North East scene. With these bands supporting, the night will be a showcase of some of the most exciting up and coming young indie bands in the North East.
