ROBERT & THE PILLS

Originally formed in 2023 to play Robert’s acclaimed solo work live. No genre could pin them down, with post-punk, jazz, prog-rock, hip-hop, spoken word and grunge all touched, with Robert’s distinctive rapping and poetry, leading outlets to stick them in the alternative hip-hop crate.

Robert released his new single 'Trenches' featuring Liam Bailey and John Parish recently and it has been met with critical acclaim, being played on BBC Radio 6 by Guy Garvey and Chris Hawkins. His most recent album played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 by Giles Peterson and Huey Morgan, featured Rag n Bone Man, Sleaford Mods, Soweto Kinch and others.

These guys are destined for great things so be sure to see them at Cosmic Kitchen, Plymouth's most intimate, underground music venue whilst you can.

TOWLIE DJ

Mashing together funk and swing with garage, breaks and drum and bass expect high energy dance music with a smile! Towlie DJ has been getting dancefloors moving round the country for years with appearances at festivals such as Boomtown, Shindig and Funk Up The Farm. His tracks have been hotting up too with releases on established labels such as Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Cuttin’ It Fine and Thick Boy Records, even getting played on Charlie Tee’s Radio 1 DNB show! With rave reviews on sites such as Breaklinkz and Lifesupportmachine, this is an up-and-coming DJ to keep an eye on!
