BUZZING to announce Dancing for Mental Health’s next musical host, man of MANY talents: CHARLIE DARK MBE!

Esteemed DJ, radio broadcaster (with regular shows on Worldwide FM, NTS + Radio Alhara), producer, poet, mental health advocate, mentor, Run Dem Crew founder Charlie Dark is one hell of a polymath.

He’ll be treating us to 3 hours of eclectic selections Sunday 20th October 3pm-6pm. Whether you’re sober curious or just game for a Sunday boogie, we can’t wait to welcome you to our ALL AGES, BOOZE-FREE, DAYTIME DISCO, powered by Sun Palace Sound System.

NB. Please respect Dancing for Mental Health as a sober space & expect to be asked to leave if you’re intoxicated. While no alcohol will be on sale during our event, Invisible Wind Factory is NOT a dry venue. If you’re on a recovery journey, please take care and prioritise your own wellbeing.

ACCESS:

We’ve had loads of lovely feedback from NEURO-DIVERGENT folk saying how supported they feel at our events. Hooray!

Very sadly, IWF Substation does not have step free access.

Access to the Substation is via 9 steps. An accessible toilet is located up 15 steps from the Substation in a corridor alongside the roller rink- this can be opened by IWF staff on request.

IWF Substation has one toilet cubicle plus a few urinals. More toilets are located upstairs, in the corridor parallel to the roller rink,

IWF Substation has several inside seating options for anyone wanting a disco-sit.

We offer comp tickets for PAs, just send us a DM 24 hours prior to the event and we'll sort you.

On-street parking is available in the area surrounding Invisible Wind Factory. Nearest train station is Moorfields or Sandhills (approx 20 mins walk from IWF)
