ODYSSEY SESSIONS X THUMP - Independent Venue Week at The Rat & Pigeon, Manchester

Introducing "Odyssey Sessions x THUMP " at The Rat & Pigeon. A special edition for Independent Venue Week, featuring Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Spoken Word!

Manchester, UK – Monday, January 27th, 2025 – Clampdown Promotions is excited to present a special edition of "Odyssey Sessions" at The Rat & Pigeon, celebrating Independent Venue Week with a unique fusion of live music and spoken word. This 4th edition of "Odyssey Sessions" will feature an incredible lineup of artists alongside the talented poets from THUMP, creating an unforgettable evening of artistry in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The event will run from 7:00 PM to 11 PM, with a mix of free entry spots and affordable £4 tickets available.

The evening will feature performances by:

• Maya Blandy - 
• Cloe Velez (with Full Band)
• Evieanna Mullane - 
• To add to the magic, THUMP will bring some of the finest spoken word poets to perform between musical sets, elevating the evening
• Kate Ireland - Writer and performer from Glasgo featured on BBC 6 music and Glastonbury!
• India Georgia - Multidisciplinary artist and creative facilitator from Belfast. India’s writing expresses the wee spirally, twirly, fidgety thoughts from the back of your brain.
• Jude Sides Poet - Founder of THUMP. Angry, young poet who passionately rants about Manchester, himself and on very rare occasions, anything else.

Guests can expect an inviting atmosphere with candlelit seating and standing areas, perfect for enjoying the jazzy vibe. The venue also offers an upstairs bar, an outdoor smoking terrace, and a separate seated room, all on the same floor. A last entry policy for advance tickets will be in place to ensure all attendees can make the most of the night.
