My Boy’s Blood by David Woolcott (TSC Festival of Independent Creative Practice)

‘My Boy’s Blood’ by David Woolcott

“When two lives collide, we get to see the other side…”

‘My Boy’s Blood’ is a verbatim piece turned one man rap story. The show follows the true story of a mother who lost her son to knife crime in 2006, intertwined with the creators personal experiences growing up amidst violence within the same town. This piece of theatre with an original musical score is an important, emotional and interactive journey from grief and loss to resilience and hope.
