Roy Ayers In The Park

Roy Ayers, fondly known as The Godfather of Neo-Soul is simply a legend in the jazz world. As one of the most sampled artists in history, he continues to bridge the gap between generations and music lovers alike.

Having been instrumental in the inception of both Acid-Jazz and Jazz-Funk, his significance is well known throughout much of the world. His compositions have garnered him just as much recognition too, with hits like ‘Everybody Loves the Sunshine’ and ‘Searchin’ organically withstanding the tests of time.

In August, it’s an honour to welcome him to Three Mills Island - where we’ll experience the delightfully bright and soulful sounds that have established his reputation as one of the greats. All under the sunshine itself, in a wonderful natural setting.
