West Country's Indie Folk duo, Burr Island, play their first Brighton headline show.
Burr Island take the stage at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton for the first time as part of their UK Headline Tour.
After recording at Kundalini Studios in Devon with Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene, The Specials), their first few singles garnered National Radio support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing & Radio X.
The duo, comprised of best friends Tom England & Oskar Porter, take their inspiration from the works of Lennon/McCartney, Paul Simon, Crosby Stills & Nash, Nick Drake, The Beach Boys and Cat Stevens as well as modern artists - Fleet Foxes, Big Thief and Flyte.
Their close harmonies and introspective lyrics take you on an intimate, melodic journey in search of meaning and value.
