Incredible Society presents:
A bumper double headliner with two London-based songwriters presenting fresh material.
James Howard is a songwriter, producer, and guitarist who has worked with the likes of Rozi Plain, Dana Gavanski, Alabaster dePlume and Clémentine March. His first solo record, 2023's Peek-a-Boo, was highlighted for its "unsettling lyrical shrewdness" (Uncut Magazine), "slow, unflinching tragic beauty" (The Song Bar) and "lilting lunar lullabies" (Pete Paphides). This show, presented in trio form, will draw from a brand new set of songs recorded and produced by Mike Lindsay (Tunng, Anna B Savage, Lump).
Alex Irene is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has appeared live and on record with artists including David John Morris, Antony Macassus, Dana Gavanski, and Plainmoor. Building upon the DIY ethic and lush lo-fi sonics of his 2023 album Cariad, Irene will be celebrating the release of his debut studio record Two in a full-band performance of new material and old favourites.
Opening up the night will be Laura Loriga, with Rozi Plain spinning tunes before, in-between, and after the live acts.
