Manchester Orchestra play a special acoustic performance on Friday 14th January

Manchester Orchestra is the acclaimed band of singer-songwriter/guitarist Andy Hull, songwriter/lead guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince, and drummer Tim Very. Over the past 15 years, they’ve ascended beyond their Atlanta, GA, origins to national TV performances, playing main stages at major festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and reaching #1 at commercial AAA radio and the Alternative radio Top 15 (“The Gold” from 2017’s A Black Mile To The Surface). 

The sweeping and cinematic nature of the band’s consistently impressive catalog—inspired in part from lead songwriting duo Hull and McDowell’s experience scoring movies, including 2016’s Swiss Army Man and 2019’s The Death Of Dick Long—has continually been synced across film, TV, and commercial campaigns. With a devoted and wide-ranging fandom, Manchester Orchestra have hosted an annual holiday charity concert, The Stuffing, in their hometown for 10 years strong, in addition to a forthcoming 11th anniversary event. The band's critically acclaimed sixth album, The Million Masks of God, debuted on various Billboard charts with first week sales, including at #1 on Alternative and Vinyl charts, and at #3 on the Top Current Album Sales and Top Rock Albums chart. It featured the Top 2 AAA and Top 20 Alternative radio hit “Bed Head,” which has been lauded as “an epic fit for sold out venues” (Consequence). The release earned Manchester Orchestra career-high praise from Stereogum, NPR Music (All Songs Considered), Uproxx, SPIN, American Songwriter, and many more, in addition to a return trip to CBS This Morning: Saturday Sessions and a performance for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert #PlayAtHome series.
