Lottie Willis w/ Ivies & Lily Mac

Lottie Willis is an immensely talented songwriter ready to explode out of the Sunderland music scene. At just 19 years old she has already gained an anticipative audience across the North East with radio support from BBC Introducing as well as performing shows for the likes of Summer Streets Festival (run by The Futureheads’ Ross Millard), MUNRO festival, Waves festival and Tracks.

Kickstarting her musical career by joining We Make Culture’s Young Musicians project at the age of 14 Lottie began to find her identity. Lottie’s constantly evolving story has seen her share stages with the likes of Rag’N’Bone Man, The Lake Poets and Paul Smith (Maximo Park).

Lottie's largest piece of work to date is set for release on the 9th December as she shares her debut EP '2003'. With a passion for music and a love for songwriting Lottie’s sound is constantly evolving and ‘2003’ is a next step in that ever-progressive journey.

Lyrically, ‘2003’ explores all feelings from loss to anger to love, all things experienced over the course of life, hence the name of the EP, the year she was born. Lottie goes on to explain that “the tracks on this EP all hold huge sentimental value to me, the songs and sounds produced with the band is something i will forever be proud of and I hope everyone can listen to it and relate to my lyrics in some way”.
