✧ MOONLIGHT MEDIUMSHIP & IMBOLC SOUND BATH ✧

Hello, I'm Megan, a full-time Medium, Sound Healer and Reiki Master.

I invite you to join me on my first sound bath of 2025! I will be facilitating an ancient guided meditation and sound bath taking you to the 5200 year old Newgrange in Ireland to meet your ancestors, to connect to the heart of Imbolc, to connect to sound vibrations and to celebrate the first new moon of 2025!

Imbolc is a beautiful Pagan holiday celebrated on the 1st February through to sundown on the 2nd February. Imbolc is midway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox (Beltane) celebrating the start of the spring season, the growing light of the sun and celebrating Imbolcs goddess, St Brigid, the Celtic goddess of healing, fire, art & poetry. Imbolc is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals along with Beltane (spring equinox), Lughnasagh and Samhain (halloween).

In this sound bath we will be journeying together through a gentle guided meditation where I will take you to Newgrange, a 5200 year old passage tomb based in Ireland older than Stonehenge, where you will see the ancient symbols of the past written on the stone walls by your ancestors. You will then be guided to meet up with your ancestors and loved ones in spirit around the ancient fire pit to celebrate the light of the sun, to celebrate your loved ones joining you and to welcome the warmer days ahead. Newgrange was built by Stone Age farmers who prospered in the region's rich lands. Why or how these farmers built the tomb is still a mystery, it has been suggested that when sunlight enters the tomb and hits the spiral motif on the stone wall in the chamber it opens the vortex into the other world.

We also have the first new moon of 2025 during this time meaning this is a powerful time to manifest your desires using the lunar energy. The new moon provides us with the opportunity to enhance our intentions for the year ahead. It is an ideal time to journal your intentions on paper and to throw them into the fire and to be burnt under the next full moon. During full moons I do my private fire ceremonies and will put all your messages and intentions from the new moon (and from days where I read for clients) into the fire for everyones message to be sent directly up into the universe and to invite your loved ones in spirit to read your message to them. Every sound bath that I do, I bring my white spirit box which all the messages and intentions are placed privately until the full moon.

I do full-time mediumship readings by day and sound healing by night, but spirit have given me the idea to invite them into my sound healing space. This means that I will be asking you lovely souls who are coming to my sound bath to bring a photo(s), crystals or a sentimental item belonging to a loved one or even a pet who you wish to join you and bring forward a message channelled through me. After the sound bath I will do a short evening of candlelit mediumship, keeping it a private and cosy space on your yoga mats and blankets in a beautiful room at Bolton Masonic Hall all surrounded by your ancestors photos and sentimental items around the candlelit altar that I will be making beforehand.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I invite you to immerse yourself in the vibrations of my healing sound bowls under the Aquarius new moon. I will play my 5 white Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls made specifically to connect you to your Endocrine System for deeper chakra alignment, healing and releasing emotional imbalances. My 5 bowls are the sharps and flats on a piano, and in musical terms this means they are the 5 black keys on the piano. Being a musician and pianist since I was 7 years old, it's a beautiful experience for me to play an instrument spiritually rather than classically. The 5 black keys are the sharps and flats, and if you didn't know already, we have chakras in between our 7 main chakras. When these 5 black notes are played they connect with your 5 higher chakras. These chakras need healing and alignment just as much as our 7 main chakras, therefore my 5 crystal bowls will help with just that.

CONNECTING WITH THE MOON

The new moon is a time to embrace new and positive beginnings. The new moon is also known as the 'Dark Moon' giving us opportunity to work on our shadow self. What part of you do you no longer want to hold on to? A new moon means renewal, manifesting is also at it's peak and journalling your goals and ambitions under the energies of the new moon will help amplify your intentions.

This new moon is aligned with the air sign of Aquarius. This is also called the water carrier of the Zodiac, known to bring balance, logic and gatherings. When the moon is placed in the sign of Aquarius it brings us new connections with people, new friendships, new learning skills and experiences. They are very logical minded, sometimes very black and white or factual, but they like to face challenges and use their logic to make decisions. The new moon in Aquarius is teaching you that sometimes when your emotional, sometimes it's best to reach out to your community, to think logically, and the understand that this is a temporary experience not a permanent one, meaning that your emotions should feel more balanced after this new moon.

I will also guide you with a grounding practice before we begin, I will then talk you through a number of powerful breathing exercises. I will then take you on a guided meditation to meet your spirit team at Newgrange, following with sound healing and the gentle frequencies of my 5 white quartz singing bowls along with a fire meditation and finally spirit messages and a tarot reading.

PLEASE NOTE:

Sound baths are not suitable for those who wear a pacemaker or are in the first trimester of pregnancy.

There is free on street parking behind Bolton Masonic Hall.

You are welcome to stay for a short while afterwards in the bar area for refreshments and a non-alcoholic drink.

I will also be bringing spare paper and pens to journal and marker pens to write on my dried herbs which will be my BAY LEAVES from my bay leaf tree to burn in my next FULL MOON FIRE CEREMONY, so please come with lots of intentions in mind!

Seating area is also available for those who don't wish to lie down on a yoga mat.

This sound bath leads me onto my next sound bath which is specifically designed for grief and bereavement.

As someone who has also experienced sudden loss and been working with clients suffering with grief for over 10 years, it has been a project of mine that I have always wanted to pursue. And since losing my Dad suddenly, and only recently, this has only made me more determined to help those dealing with grief and for those who do not wish to seek therapy and want to go down a more spiritual healing path.
