Scottish Alternative Music Award winners Shredd (Best Newcomer, 2017) have gone from strength to strength since the release of their debut EP 'Every Time We Meet I Want To Die' in February 2017. Follow up singles 'Cobra' and 'Flight Of Stairs' were released at sold out shows at Glasgow's Old Hairdressers and Nice N Sleazy respectively while being championed by Tenement TV, The Skinny and Vic Galloway.
Appearances at major new music festivals in Scotland including Stag & Dagger, Tenement Trail, BBC 6 Music Festival, King Tuts Summer Nights and Freakender along with support slots with The Black Lips, Death Valley Girls, Thee MVPs and Rascalton have allowed Shredd to enhance their reputation as the hottest garage band in Glasgow. This has been backed up by winning the prestigious 'Best Newcomer' award at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards 2017. With a high energy live show that leaves you gasping for your breath and an increasing back catalogue of garage rock hits the band have drawn comparisons to the likes of Ty Segall, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Black Sabbath, they are set for a huge 2018.
