Wojtek The Bear + The Roov

wojtek the bear were formed in Glasgow in early 2016 and since the release of their debut single "dead from the waist up" have been described as “ "both delicately pretty and staggeringly imposing" – Louder than War,

They have found fans in BBC 6 music's Lauren Laverne & Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens & KEXP’s Shannon Sauter and are currently on tour in support of their new single released on Scottish Fiction Records."

The band have built up a strong live following through their infectious and atmospheric shows.

wojtek the bear will be supported by The Roov.   The Roov are a four piece disco, soul and rock and roll band from the North-East of Scotland, formed in 2016.  "With their latest track they’ve gone even further back, and it works a treat. They’ve created a wonderful slab of funked-up disco rock that sounds like the legendary Nile Rodgers had a hand in it with a bit of help from Scissor Sisters." - Jim Gellatly (The Scottish Sun).
