Take a lo-fi bedroom aesthetic, insert sleepy, smoky vocals with a 90’s Pacific Northwest influence and there you have it – the dawn of Earth Farm. This indie rock four-piece crash landed in 2020 with founding member Harry Tawse writing and recording music in his spare room.

Looking to evolve the sound, Harry reached out to old friends Phil Snowdon (drums), Matt Johnson (bass) and Liam O’Brien (lead guitar) to create the brash band who have so far coughed up a chaotic chorus of a debut called ‘Revolving, Rotating’ from their forthcoming EP ‘Even Cicadas Get The Blues’.

Earth Farm transmit strong lyrics written to feed inebriated thought, accompanied with a mix of jangly rhythm guitar, bendy, distorted lead, melodic bass and hard-hitting drums. Each verse serves the listener soft to heavy transitions, seamlessly and often, with tumultuous yelping eased by whispering licks of proficient word-smithery.
