8Kalacas + Redeemon

Redeemon-
Comprising of ex members of Beat the Red Light, The Filaments and Smokey Bastard; Redeemon is the sound of something happily familiar and excitingly different at the same time.
With influences ranging from 90's groove metal, ska, jazz and anything in between, Redeemon don’t really fit into a genre, and that’s how they like it.

8Kalacas-
8 Kalacas emerged in 2003 as the brainchild of a group of immigrant friends who bonded through live music and wanted to start their own band. Rapidly gaining momentum since their early days singing about the trials and tribulations of living in a new country, 8 Kalacas have since established themselves as pioneers of a new breed of ska-core, earning themselves a diverse and continuously growing fanbase over the past two decades.
Passing influences from System of a Down and Lamb Of God to Bob Marley and Manu Chao through a unique lens, vocalists Getse Navarro and Jaime Hernandez, trumpeter Edgar Hernandez, trombonist Giovani Isais, drummer Adam Guerrero, bassist Rust Kennedy, and guitarist Steve Espinoza organically blend elements of hardcore, metal, punk, brass-driven ska, and traditional Mexican elements into a cohesive sonic identity.

With 3 full-length albums already under their belt and a track record of headlining some of LA’s most iconic venues, selling tours across the US and Mexico, and playing at institutiona festivals like Knotfest, Punk Rock Bowling, Skatex, and Ixtapaluska, 8 Kalacas are now preparing to take on the world. South American, European, and Asian fans of their thundering grooves, malicious riffs and infectious, brassy madness certainly have a lot to look forward to in the wake of the band’s 20th anniversary.
