USSU Summer Ball

Your Students' Union is proud to bring you a new format of End of Year celebrations and we can't wait to tell you what we have in store... 

Awards Ceremony (Reception at 7pm)

As we always have, we will be awarding our students groups and societies with an array of trophies to celebrate the successes of the last 12 months but this year we will also be championing our volunteers and course reps too! 

We are all one big supportive community here at the SU so we want you all to be able to celebrate together...

The new format doesn't include a sit down meal but we'll be bringing some cool side stalls and snacks, so you get to celebrate all your successes without a hefty price-tag.  

We always host an end of year event and this new version will be the biggest post exam party we've ever hosted - make the most of this one last blow-out before summer. 

Expect great artists who will be bringing all the biggest hits to make the night an unforgettable one, with us bringing in huge production too, so Maxwell Hall is transformed into the incredible venue it once was!

Celebration (Doors at 10pm)

After the awards ceremony we will be seeing the year off in style, bringing you some incredible live music entertainments from 'The Forte'. You can expect a 2 hour show of the biggest anthems and we are buzzing for you to see them!

With the event being in such an iconic venue which has hosted such greats as The Smiths, New Order and Blondie to name but a few, you can expect a magical atmosphere for you and your mates.

If you thought  that was it, you'll be happy to know we've even secured an after-party venue to continue as we started. We have exclusive access to VIVA nightclub where we will see out the night until the early hours. This will come at no extra cost to you as your wristband gains you FREE entry to the club.

On the night Atmosphere will be providing your refreshments services and that means unlike any external awards do or party, drinks will be priced with you guys in mind. So you won't be paying £5 a pint and we'll have a host of deals on the night too (and we may have a few freebies in store too)

Make sure you get your early-bird tickets for The Celebration as when we release the lineup in a few weeks these cheaper tickets will go off sale!
