Fon / Subsist

Alfonso D. Civantos aka Fon was born in Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain) and has been based in Valencia, Spain since the late 90s.

Fon created and founded Komakino/KMK, a collective of artists and promoters in the Valencia area that has been considered to be the most important artist platform related to electronic music in Valencia, creating a consolidated scene of electronic music around the city, parallel to the commercial scene created by the established commercial clubs.

After almost ten years managing and directing Komakino, Fon decided leave to have the freedom to develop his own label called Subsist records in 2009

Subsist records is a label dedicated to delivering cutting edge underground electronic/techno music to the world stage

Each EP or album will showcase a selection of tracks in all shapes and forms from talented electronic music producers across the globe.

Fon currently combines his work as the artistic director of Subsist records, as well as one of the most talented DJ’s with projection, charisma and quality musical taste on the east coast of Spain. His DJ sets are warm, coherent, deep, dark and forceful.

Voidloss / Subsist - Singularity

Voidloss: " el caballero de lo oscuro" as they call him in Spain, is a producer much respected in the underground.

His musical life is extended, starting in industrial bands, moving on to putting on illegal raves as part of the seminal London underground counter cultural movement United Systems, through commercial techno and back into the murky underground of experimental/industrial techno.

Always known to be someone working on the fringes, in the shadows, a true underground artist, Voidloss has become a name associated with progression, a high production aesthetic, emotional extremes, of euphoria and darkness, with iconic releases on both high profile and underground labels. His own label Singularity Recordings pushes forward and explores the dark and experimental, leading edge of techno, championing other artists working with a similar aesthetic of uniquity, artistry and underground mentality.

His Live PA`s take people on a deep emotional journey, both for the soul and for dancefloor, breaking genre rules, remaining ahead of expectation. And his releases and label philosophy continue to be a strong force for individuality and dissent amongst a sea of compliance.

Error Etica / Subsist - Pychoskunk

Error Etica aka Victor Martinez is the owner of Psychoskunk Recordings, Producer, DJ and sound engineer, but also a reference in northern Spain for techno music.

With a career that spans over 20 years and more than 30 edited records , Victor has developed a unique and personal style that can be experienced in his particular dj sets exploring through many subgeneres of the electronic music, playing in legendary clubs all across Europe as: Tresor and Suicide Circus in Berlin, Reverb ( London), Moog (Bcn), Soma and One in Madrid, Lärm (Budapest), Curk (Prague) Gamma Club (Tourin) Detached (Leeds) etc ,and festivals like: Mugako (Spain) and Alkototabor (Hungary).

Víctor has worked for numerous other labels as: Tsunami records, Granulart, Pole Group, Reclaim your city, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Sect London, Subsist, Pohjola and many more....

Being faithful to his style and philosophy, Victor is in a continuous evolution betting for new sounds and new dimensions in the techno sound and bound to evolve in various fields of contemporary creation composing soundtracks for documentaries, short films, trailers, commercials making off etc. He is currently immersed in creating a new projects with other alias, in 2016 and in just 3 months, he recorded his third album and the first with the new alias: "Slaugh † ered Sain †" , a much more sentimental and deep facet, tracing dyes and structures that go the brutality of noise sounds of Pan Sonic and other genres such as the Dark Wave 80´s and industrial sound such as: Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Psychic TV, Death in June, Skinny Puppy, Klinik, Explendor Geometrico, etc .Underlining them with convoluted breaks of IDM and Drones with an evil and depraved atmosphere. “Odio y Desprecio” is published on the St. Petersburg label "La Notte di Architetto" and distributed by Ready Made Distribution (Berlin-GER).

Nowadays, he is working in parallel with Error Etica in another project called K3RN3L_32 focused on electronics, drum & bass and dubstep-techno.

Someone who moves away from trends, producing a deep, dark and energetic atmosphere.

Joel Sutcliffe / Tom Long / Process Manchester

Joel Sutcliffe and Tom Long have forged separate paths through the techno scene of northern England over best part of decade, raving at and playing at pretty much anywhere worth its salt. The boys convened in Manchester as Sutcliffe founded the clubnight Process back in 2010. Their Process Shows are an online offering, an accessible form of what the night has offered and has yet to offer. All forms of techno are delved into, but with a big slant toward tougher Detroit and Berlin influenced sounds, both old and new.

Siege / Subsist - Singularity

Calvin Whittaker aka Siege / CWS has been a steady and reliable force in the UK underground techno scene for a number of years.

His diverse and creative DJ sets utilising vinyl on up to 3 turntables are well known from his regular performances in the North and Midlands of the UK, as a regular of the infamous ex-techno mecha Detached of Leeds, as well as a host of other parties and dance events around the UK and Europe. He has played alongside the likes of Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Regis, Reeko, Dave Clarke, Claude Young, Rob Hood, James Ruskin, Luke Slater, Joey Beltram and many more.

His productions have been released on labels such as Subsist, Labrynth, Singularity, Teskoba, Armatura Records, Dubtek Vinyl, Input Output Systems, Prototypes, Android Musiq, Ante Rasa, Trust, Limetree and Utch, and has been remixed by the likes of Voidloss and Makaton.

He also forms one half of Solitude Suite, the performance and production collaberation with Casual Violence.

Sabes / Ant-Zen / Gomboc Records

Sabes aka Sebastian Mich started at a young age as an acid / hard techno DJ and decided to follow this path into the study of Music Technology, which prompted him to move from his native Poland to the UK. He was both fascinated and alienated by the culture he found and he wanted to channel this in an artistic fashion - and thus, Sabes was born. From the offset Sebastian's ambition was to merge the distortion of rhythmic, noise-oriented industrial music with Technoid beat and bass structures. Influenced by classic industrial projects of the 90s like Asche, Imminent, Synapscape and Iszoloscope – Sabes created two albums that are best described as an energetic blend of blasting beats, complex sequencer patterns, unsettling samples and crushing power noise textures. His sound keeps evolving and his recent explorations oscillate around a more polished Techno soundscape with Industrial influences....and because of this we are super happy to have him back at tensile!
