The release of ‘Leaked 2.0’ has ignited a new wave of hype for Lil Macks whose reputation grows with every release. He
debuted in 2020 with ‘Top Floor’ but ‘Protect Me’ cemented his status as one to watch with influential support from
OVO Sound. He continues to step up with highlights including a One Mic Freestyle for GRM Daily before last year’s ‘Oslo’
saw him fire into the UK Official Singles Chart for the first time, the track having now exceeded 10 million streams. Later
in 2022, he dropped fan favourites ‘Barbados’ and ‘Luv Songs’ as well as his first Mad About Bars. His momentum
catapulted into 2023, when ‘Truth Hurts’ earned his first playlist at 1xtra.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in Milton Keynes, the Somali-British artist’s melodic flow and versatility help him
stand out from the pack. Modelling and the fashion world are also in his sights, but the bigger picture is that he’s trying
to build an empire with music as the foundation. Hotly tipped among tastemakers, this year will see Lil Macks make a
much wider impact.
