THE HOWLERS - Upgraded to Music Hall

The Howlers will be coming to The Lodge to showcase there debut album!

‘I Need Your Love’ is the new single from East London trio The Howlers and the final track to be revealed from the band's debut album ‘What You’ve Got to Lose to Win It All’, produced by Black Honey and set for release on the 17th May.

Arriving with an anthemic chorus and cinematic brass and string sections, the single sets up the album perfectly. An epic, 15-track collection of expansive, irresistible earworms that firmly set the trio apart from their peers, the album finds mariachi trumpets and orchestral backdrops juxtaposed against the band's signature fuzzy guitars, creating a body of work that could easily be referred to as a soundscape.

So far, singles ‘Lady Luck’ , ‘El Dorado’, and ‘Cowboys Don’t Cry’ have seen the band pick up support and much-deserved praise from Rolling Stone, MTV, 1883 Magazine, Clash and The Line Of Best Fit. ‘I Need Your Love’ is indicative of an exciting new frontier for the East London band, breaking the shackles of conventional rock music with an anthem set to define the band.

Speaking about the single, Adam says

“I Need Your Love is the first instance on the album where the album title is teased in lyrical form, the track conception and inclusion on the album were uneasy and the source of much debate as I could never quite get my head around the song, often opting to take the stance of ‘it was just something I wrote to get rid off’ which is often when the best songs come into being. It wasn't until pre-production sat in a rehearsal room where Chris and Tommy (Black Honey) proceeded to convince us it was ‘THE ONE’, playing the song in the background like some underfunded TED Talk all the while I paced the room saying ‘Nope’. That the record ended up on the final tracklisting, to think we almost passed up on one of the best songs we have ever written is laughable now”
