Mrs Smith

In January 1945, three generations of the Smith family are all living under one roof.

With the youngest son missing in action, air raid wardens sleeping in the living room each night in case of sirens, and the local community relying on them; the Smith family must keep working, laughing and supporting each other to give those they love in the war something worth coming home to.

This story of family, hope, duty and prejudice is based on the true experiences of script writer and cast member Faye Alexandra’s ancestors. With a cast of brilliant, collaborative actors from across the North of the UK, “Mrs Smith” is the debut production of Heirloom Theatre Company.
