'We will use our words and songs of protest, peace and healing in solidarity with women, for women all corners of the world. In recent months there has been a number of attacks on women’s rights across the globe from abortion rights being stripped away in America to the outbreak of a revolution in Iran. Our event will stand in unity with these issues and will celebrate what it means to be a woman.
We will be hosting artists, singers, spoken word artists and theatre makers who identify as female to give amplification to their voice in a safe environment and perform the things that matter most to them. This will be done through monologues, duologues, songs, poetry and spoken word.
This will all be done in the hope to dream of a better world for every single human being.'
