About the Venue:

Cloisters is a converted church attached to The Holiday Inn hotel in the centre of Bolton. This beautiful venue is used for events, ceremonies, weddings and more. Bringing sound healing into this angelic venue, a beautiful converted church that holds spiritual healing and positive energy.

What is Beltane?

Beltane is a seasonal festival that falls on May Day, 1st May every year. It marks the beginning of Summer, whereas the Summer Solstice on 22nd June marks the peak of Summer when the sun stands still. Beltane means warmer days and celebrating our sun which means we get to work the element of fire on Beltane. With this in mind, I am over the moon to finally announce that I will be setting my fire pit up so we can gather around in a circle and hold space for my very first public fire ceremony. All of my fire ceremonies since the last Beltane in 2024 have been held privately and shared online for anyone to take part, however this time I am thrilled to be able to share this public event with you all. Please bear in mind this fire ceremony is weather permitting and if mother nature provides us with a heavy downpour then unfortunately the fire ceremony will be moved to my Summer Solstice Sound Bath around the 22nd June. In this case, we will still write our messages to loved ones in spirit on paper to throw into the fire and all of your manifestations and they will be placed in my spirit message box for me to burn and shared online on my social media accounts. If we are blessed with sunshine and blue skies then the public fire ceremony will still take place at my Beltane Sound Bath for you all to throw your messages to spirit in the fire.

Beltane is one of the 8 Sabbats on the 'Wheel of the Year'. The Wheel of the Year is a pagan calendar marking the change of seasons. Each Sabbat is a seasonal celebration to honour this change hence 'wheel'. All 8 Sabbats are celebrated typically at megaliths, energy vortex’s such as stone circles including Stonehenge stone circle. Spiritual communities gather all over the world to honour the sun, moon and stars bringing like-minded souls together, and I believe that spirit have brought the spiritual venue of Cloisters into my path to hold a safe and comfortable space at my sound baths. I also believe that churches are a spiritual portal to a higher source, whatever that may mean to you - and to celebrate Beltane at Cloisters will energetically be just as powerful as a stone circle. The spire on a church holds huge amounts of spiritual energy, exactly like crystal towers, the pyramids of Giza in Egypt and my copper Reiki pyramid. Points enhance energy and are also a great tool to use to manifest.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is literally bathing lay on your back or in a seated upright position allowing your body to soak up the angelic healing frequencies of the crystal bowls as they gently resonate different relaxing sounds.

A sound bath is great for relaxation, meditation and a perfect way to find time for yourself. We are made up of 70% of water and sound healing can move any negative energy stored in the body. Negative energy can feel like anxiety, it can feel like heartbreak, it can feel like grief, it can feel like tiredness, it can feel like you're not good enough and in a sound bath all of this negative energy is gently moved away from your body in order to be replaced with lots of light and positive energy. This is why I make sure in my sound baths that I always begin with a grounding meditation for everyone so that you feel safe and anchored with the earth. You have full awareness in a sound bath, some people may fall asleep as its so relaxing, and some people may be planting seeds for themselves and setting goals for the year. Everyones journey is unique and a personal experience and that is the beauty of a sound bath.

So, please join me on this beautiful healing evening at Cloisters as I play my 5 crystal quartz sound bowls that will echo beautifully around the church and through your body, I will also play my healing ocean drum, my earthy Koshi chimes and my grounding heart chakra drum to connect you to your heart chakra to feel all the love you are being given in this session from spirit. I will also be guiding you through a gentle grounding visualisation meditation to connect with the earth and I will also be inviting your Dragon spirit animal into your meditation so we can work with the element of fire in honour of Beltane. I will also be offering a mini card reading after my sound bath welcoming you to pick a card for guidance and a message from spirit.

✦ Any crystals you'd like to bring to create your own mini altar at the end of your yoga mat

Sound Baths are not suitable for those in their first trimester of pregnancy or those wearing a pacemaker
