Over the past months, we’ve hosted six unforgettable parties across Bath and Bristol, and we’ve been truly overwhelmed by your amazing support. This Friday marks our final free party of 2024! With a later start time of 6 PM, we’ll be grooving through until midnight. Our vision for every event is to take you on a musical journey—powered by groove-driven beats, enriched with percussive fills, jazzy touches, and our signature blend of Latin rhythms and Afro-boogie. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey so far. We’re so excited for what’s to come in 2025: a new residency at the Bath Brewhouse, stage takeovers at UK festivals, and a special club night across the square at Komedia! Last month's event was an amazing vibe with a packed dance floor in the roof covered gardens. As always we'll be serving up an irresistible fusion of Latin disco, Afro boogie, funk, and Brazilian. An evening that transcends the typical music event in Bath, where cutting-edge beats blend with rare vintage treasures, and we break free from the confines of BPM limits. Joining us in October we have Buckley (Bath Carnival & Glastonbury's W.H.S.C.), Carlito (Carlito's Sessions) and Olly Sundown (Snazzy Wax). After a string of successful day parties at Bath Brewhouse, Bacana Funk is taking its vibrant, genre-blurring sounds to Komedia for a late night boogie! We'll be taking over the Electric Bar to recreate those sweaty close quarter club vibes that define so many of the best nights out. Our residents will be playing back2back all night long, digging deep into their collections to serve up cuts of irresistible Latin disco, Afro boogie, funk, and Brazilian beats. Behind the decks this October is Beavs (Loose FM & Void Bristol) having recently smashed her set at London's Cafe1001, and More Soup's Owen; a regular on our airwaves with his SWU FM show. Buckley (Bath Carnival & Glasto's W.HS.C.) and Carlito join the party as they warm up for their b2b set at Mr Wolf's next month. This will be an evening that transcends the typical club night in Bath, where cutting-edge beats blend with rare vintage treasures, and we break free from the confines of BPM limits.
