With Summer officially over, we're happy to release a stacked programme featuring a heady mix of underground flavours for the Sheffield ravers. We're hoping to please our seasoned crowd and newcomers alike with this diverse programme featuring all corners of rave music from garage and bassline through to hardcore and drum and bass and everything in between. This weekend coming, we're kicking things off as we mean to go on with two banging parties. First up we've got STI's 42nd instalment; if the previous 41 are anything to go by then this promises to be a stomper. On Saturday night we're opening the doors for free with a special all night long set from Thorpey; expect to hear bassline, speed garage, dubstep and all things bassy & wobbly. The Castlegate Festival is back on Saturday September 14th 2024 with a very special street party and skate jam on Exchange Street! The event is free and open to all with live entertainment on outside until 10pm. Join us from 2pm as Skateboard GB host the annual Marioland skate event with cash for tricks - all welcome! The Exchange Street Stage and Bar will be serving up quality multi-genre music all day long until 10pm, with live performances and DJ sets from special guests and local artists including Halogenix, Katie Bosworth, Goldivox, Yarni and more. The free festivities continue well into the wee hours with more appearances from special guests at the traditional afterparties held across the Exchange Street venues - Plot 22, Delicious Clam and Panke Social. Running from 2pm, the event offers over 14 hours of music across four spaces, with a licensed bar and food on site. Re-entry permitted subject to capacity. Searches and Challenge 25 in operation.
